Faith Lutheran's Jordyn Staggs Named Inaugural Recipient of Stallworth Strong Foundation "12th Man" Scholarship
LAS VEGAS, NV – June 2, 2025 – The Stallworth Strong Foundation, in collaboration with the Bill Ireland Las Vegas Chapter of the National Football Foundation, is proud to announce Jordyn Staggs, a dedicated football team manager from Faith Lutheran High School, as the first recipient of the Stallworth Strong Foundation "12th Man" Scholarship.
The merit-based scholarship recognizes outstanding high school seniors in Southern Nevada who contribute to their football programs in non-player support roles, such as team managers, athletic trainers, and equipment staff. Jordyn Staggs was selected for her exceptional leadership, dedication, and professionalism as team manager, embodying the core values of the Stallworth Strong Foundation.
Jordyn will be honored at the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on June 13, 2025, at Lee's Family Forum. She will be celebrated alongside prominent figures in the region's sports and community leadership.
Steve Stallworth, founder of the Stallworth Strong Foundation, stated, "Jordyn is a trailblazer and the perfect choice to receive our first-ever 12th Man Scholarship". He added, "She represents the values of leadership, integrity, and hard work—not just on game day, but every single day. People like Jordyn are the backbone of every great football program, and we’re thrilled to help support her future".
The "12th Man" Scholarship will be awarded annually to students who demonstrate unwavering commitment to their football programs through their behind-the-scenes contributions. This award aims to highlight the often-unseen impact of support team members and help them pursue their ambitions in college athletics and beyond.
